  1. Connect Your Wallet:

    • Click the Connect Wallet button in the top-right corner.

    • Approve the connection request in your wallet (e.g., MetaMask).

  2. Ensure You Have Base Sepolia ETH:

    • Verify that your wallet holds enough ETH on the Base Sepolia network to cover gas fees.

    • If needed, acquire ETH via a faucet or follow Donty’s instructions for obtaining testnet ETH.

  3. Navigate to the Events Page:

    • Click on the Events or Main section to view active donation campaigns.

    • Browse the list or use filters to locate an event that resonates with you.

  4. Pick an Event You Love:

    • Click the View Event button on the event card.

    • Review the event’s key information, including:

      • Target: The fundraising goal.

      • Balance: The current amount raised.

      • Deadline: The event’s end date.

      • Category: The type of event.

      • State: The current status of the event.

      • Owner: The creator’s wallet address.

      • About Contract: Details or links to on-chain information.

      • Narratives: The background story of the event.

  5. Select Your Donation Tier:

    • Choose a tier card that displays the donation amount you wish to contribute.

  6. Confirm the Donation:

    • A pop-up will appear in your wallet asking you to review and confirm the donation transaction.

    • Double-check the donation amount and gas fee details.

    • Click Confirm in your wallet to complete the transaction.

  7. Transaction Confirmation:

    • Wait a few seconds for the transaction to process on the Base Sepolia network.

    • The event’s balance will update to reflect your donation.

    • A success notification will appear on Donty once your donation is confirmed.

Tips & Reminders

  • Refresh if Needed: If your balance or the event total doesn’t update right away, wait a moment or refresh the page.

  • Security Tools: Use extensions like Pocket Universe to verify exactly what you’re signing and Revoke.cash to manage any permissions you grant.

  • Support & Info: If you need help acquiring Base Sepolia ETH or run into errors, consult the Donty docs or community channels for troubleshooting.
