1. Connect Your Wallet

  • Click the Connect Button: Ensure you have a compatible wallet (e.g., MetaMask).

  • Authorize Connection: Follow any prompts to grant the Donty DApp permission to read your wallet address.

2. Obtain Donty Tokens

  • Claim from the Drop (If Needed): If you don’t already have Donty tokens, click Claim Donty Tokens on the Staking page. This will prompt a transaction to send tokens to your wallet.

  • Confirm in Your Wallet: Wait for the confirmation. You should see your new token balance in your wallet once the transaction is complete.

3. Approve Tokens for Staking

  • Why Approve? Staking smart contracts typically require approval to spend your tokens.

  • Initiate Approval: Look for a button labeled Approve or Stake. If prompted, confirm the approval transaction in your wallet.

4. Stake Your Tokens

  • Enter Amount: Decide how many Donty tokens you want to stake.

  • Confirm Staking Transaction: Click Stake and confirm in your wallet.

  • Wait for Confirmation: A notification will appear once the transaction is confirmed on-chain.

5. Monitor Your Staking Status

  • Check Dashboard: After staking, your Staked Amount and Earned Rewards will update in real time on the Staking page.

  • Refresh or Wait: If you don’t see updates immediately, wait a few seconds or refresh the page to fetch the latest blockchain data.

6. Claim Your Rewards

  • Earn Over Time: As time passes, your rewards accumulate.

  • Claim Rewards: Click Claim Rewards to transfer your earned tokens to your wallet.

  • Transaction Confirmation: Approve the transaction in your wallet; your new token balance (rewards) will be reflected once confirmed.

7. Withdraw (If You Want Your Staked Tokens Back)

  • Unstake Your Tokens: Click Withdraw and specify the amount you want to remove from staking.

  • Confirm Withdrawal: Approve the transaction in your wallet. Your tokens will return to your available balance, no longer earning rewards.

8. Verify On-Chain (Optional)

  • Transaction History: If you want to see all transaction details, check the Transactions page on Donty or use a block explorer.

  • Confirm Data: Verify that your stake, rewards, and withdrawal transactions are accurately recorded.

Tips & Reminders

  • Network Fees: You will pay a small gas fee (in ETH on Base Sepolia) each time you stake, withdraw, or claim rewards.

  • Refresh for Accuracy: Sometimes it takes a few seconds for the DApp to sync your latest balance from the blockchain.

  • Security Tools: Consider using Pocket Universe or Revoke.cash to monitor and manage any approvals you grant to staking contracts.

By following these steps, you can confidently stake and manage your tokens on Donty to earn additional rewards while supporting charitable causes. Enjoy your staking journey!
