Identify the Event Owner & Contract
Go to the Event page on Donty.
Locate the Owner address and the About Contract link (which leads to a block explorer or other on-chain data source).
Visit a Blockchain Explorer
Click View on BlockScout (or a similar link) to open the event’s contract page.
On the explorer, you’ll see transaction history, contract code, and token balances.
Check ARKHAM INTEL (Optional)
Go to ARKHAM INTEL and enter the Owner or Contract address.
View a visual map of money flow, see which addresses have interacted with this event, and check address reputations.
Review Transaction Details
On the explorer or ARKHAM INTEL, look at incoming and outgoing transactions.
Verify if donations are moving to the right addresses and whether any suspicious transfers are taking place.
Assess Address Reputation
If ARKHAM INTEL or other services show red flags—such as known scams or high-risk addresses—take note.
Cross-reference multiple sources (e.g., Etherscan or other analytics tools) to confirm.
Monitor the Balance
Check the contract’s Balance field to confirm how much ETH or tokens it currently holds.
Compare this to the Target displayed on Donty to see if the goal is being met.
Stay Informed
Bookmark or follow the addresses for real-time updates.
Continue checking the event page on Donty to see if the owner withdraws funds, and verify those transactions on-chain.
Share Your Findings
If you see anything suspicious or want to confirm a donation’s destination, share the transaction link or block explorer data with others.
Transparency is the core of blockchain; by verifying on your own, you help maintain trust in the system.
Why Everyone Can Be a Validator
Public Ledger: All data—balances, transactions, contract code—is public and tamper-evident.
No Single Authority: Blockchain removes the need for a centralized entity to vouch for transactions.
User Empowerment: Tools like BlockScout, ARKHAM INTEL, and other explorers let anyone inspect and analyze data directly.
By following these steps, you’ll see how donations flow in and out of any Donty event. With open access to on-chain data, every user effectively becomes a validator—ensuring transparency, security, and accountability in the donation process.
